Annika Köster is a documentary and editorial photographer based between London and Cornwall. She works primarily with an analogue workflow to create images rooted in authenticity and permanence. Her practice centres on observing and capturing the quiet beauty of everyday life, with a focus on honest, unguarded moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Driven by a deep interest in visual storytelling, Annika approaches both long-form documentary projects and commercial commissions with the same thoughtful sensitivity. Her work is characterised by an intimate, reflective quality, shaped by a commitment to slowing down and engaging meaningfully with subject and environment.
Continually evolving her practice, Annika remains dedicated to refining her craft and expanding her understanding of narrative through photography, producing work that feels both timeless and emotionally resonant.
